Mama's Growth

We are really excited to be expecting a little girl or boy! From the very beginning, my most frequent question to Doug was "do I look pregnant?". We started taking pictures in late November and have tried to keep it up throughout our pregnancy. Hope you enjoy the growth of my tummy as much as we do!

Celebrating 2 years of marriage!
On the night of our anniversary, Doug and Andi arranged for us to watch a slide show of our wedding album pictures. We had such an amazing wedding!
The next evening, we went out to dinner at Chops and Hops, a new restaurant in downtown Watkinsville. The food was delicious and they have an incredible wine and beer list. I was surprised at the range of food. Definitely a place to celebrate a special occasion or come for a burger.
At our wedding, we had 3 different Cecilia Cakes, so we've made it an anniversary tradition to celebrate with a small Cecilia Cake.
Beautiful and delicious!

Happy Anniversary!

I love you yesterday, today, and tomorrow!

Go Braves and Lake Weekend

Braves vs. Pirates after some rain...
We arrived at the stadium early to watch batting practice. And guess what, the Jones' were on time. :-) However, the weather was not cooperating. It really is incredible to see how the ground crew works together so quickly to cover the field. Below is the video during the rain. You can see the air blowers working to keep the rain off the middle of the field. A perfect time for dinner: Subway subs, trail mix, and beer!

The rain started to slow down and the seats were fairly empty so we actually moved from our awesome outfield seats to really good covered, dry seats. While the rain continued, Emily, Doug, Daniel, and Trippe went to have some fun in the rain while Evelyn and I sat, talked, and watched the rain.
Emily takes the mound..

Trippe with the wind-up...

Daniel with the pitch...

Doug hurls himself off the mound!

Andrew McCutchen is on Doug's fantasy team. He was torn between McCutchen earning fantasy points and the Braves winning. We left as the rain started again late in the game. Braves win, but no Friday Night fireworks.

We headed down to the lake after the game. The next day, Doug and I took Dellaina and Wyatt out on the boat to fill up all the gas tanks and for a boat ride. Before we headed back for dinner we stopped by Goat Island and did some swimming.

What an incredible weekend: Braves Baseball, the Lake, and family!

Girl Power

Monday afternoon, Morgan decided to go for a run without the dogs. Doug was going to finish up some work. Then, Doug and Morgan were going to have a romantic date night. :-)

Let's see what happens as Morgan runs and Doug tries to finish working...

Who knew that Bela could sing too?! So, needless to say, the girls got to go for a walk after Morgan ran so that Doug could finish working and decompress from his personal serenading.

All the ladies of the house got what they wanted...

Morgan got a run and Moxie & Bela got a walk. And Doug was more than ready after the girls got back from the walk to go out to dinner.

Just a routine Monday night.
